Looking for Mr. Goodbar
When I spoke with Franco, he told me that if I went with the header & down pipes that I would loose a CAT. My concern is the emission testing that is mandatory where I live (every two years.)
I would very much like to see the car as well since it is my intention to have the same mod done.

I have an appt next Monday at KleemannUSA in Colorado Springs for a K3 upgrade. This will include Headers and downpipes and require removing the first Cats (the 2nd Cats will remain). When you look at the stock exhaust manifolds you'll see that they look EXTREMELY restrictive and I'm told that the main gains come from the headers with very very small gains coming from redoing the exhaust from the downpipes to the exhaust tips. Hope this helps. Try calling Cory at the Colorado Springs shop. He is very knowledgable and can advise.

Thanks for replying, I see that you’re from Indiana. Have you ever taken the Benz into Ohio? My experience is that the Police in this state must have at least 500HP under the hood – nasty stuff if witnessed as I have.
Please let me know about your mod and if possible shoot the Etest readings before and after.
I am still awaiting a response from the guy in Toronto.
