I recently bought a C63s W205 at a great price, and to my surprise, it came with an Akrapovič exhaust system already installed. However, the previous owner unfortunately cut off the exhaust valves for some unknown reason.
I’m now looking to get the valves working again. I’ve found that Akrapovič sells the valve actuators separately (part number P-HF985), but I’m unsure about the best way to reinstall them.
Can I simply cut off what's left of the old mounts and clamp the new valves on and plug them in? Or will I need to have them welded back in place?
Any guidance or experience with this would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
