2006 ML500 w/ AMG body package
Anyone have experience with head work???
I'm looking for a shop that has experience doing performance work on Mercedes heads. I have a 2000 ML55 AMG and am looking to have the heads ported, polished, bigger valves etc...to get more flow.
Any contacts or opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Current mods include:
K&N filter
Bilstein shocks
H&R springs
Evosport underdrive pulleys
Brembo cross drilled rotors, front/rear
Custom made stainless brake lines
EBC green pads

I know EvoSport does it on 55 motors. Since you are doing head work and valves you might as well put in more aggressive cams. I would guess port and polish, valves, cams and software would be around $8000 maybe $10k with headers. It might be cheaper to supercharger it.
