how can I add a picture to my signature?

You have the right idea on your sig to surround the path using the IMG tags. However, the location or path must be a URL link, not the path to the image on your local machine So you must upload that image to the net and use that HTTP path in your link. You can go to our Test Forum, upload a pic, then use the link to that pic (after you post, right-click the image and select Properties to get the image path).
