I guess the only way to stop these guys is making newbie posting available only in select forums...but then it stops the legitimate new car owner from posting in his/her correct forum.

Just more work for the mods I guess.

The mods can institute a 3-day waiting period before you can post, I've seen that on another forum, I think it's a good method to weed out spammers....

That would probably only delay the spam three days.
