Is there a way for members to submit SQL queries?

Having used SQL for decades, I find the forum's search function sorely lacking.

Umm, no. I'm sure you are then well aware of the security risks involved if we were to allow users to do that.

But you can definitely submit feedback as to what features you would like to see in the search component.

Yeah, I know. STFF is so painful most of the time (inherent in "comment" fields like forum posts). Most of my searches return all or nothing results.

Maybe the addition of a <> for exclusionary purposes.

I can only imagine what topics you search on.
