sl55 supercharger bearing broken
I went to a mercedes mechanic and he said my supercharger bearings were broken and should be replace the costs was $950 plus 1.5 hours labor. I took it to mercedes dealer and the dealer told be there is no way to know because it is in a casing. my mmechanic said he could see it. I'm getting a rattle noise when i run the car. Mercedes says it's a pully. Any idea's

Wrong section. This is for technical help concering the site itself, not cars. Scroll up and post in the SL55 section...though the best for this is the W211 E55 section as the engines are the same but many more people will help you there.
