Mercedes benz C200 Elegance auto
Gear selector problem

Hi there. I drive an automatic mercedes benz C200 elegance manufactured in 2000. It has been on the road for approximately 120,000km. I m having problems shifting the gear.Of late moving from "P" to any other gear and back to "P" requires me to first switch off the ignition. My mech, who specialises in mercedes benz hs checked it out and says that my gear selector module needs to be replaced as it hsa been damged by an oil spillage and some parts are also worn out. Take note that I did a gear box service only 2 months prior to this problem. Can this diagnosis be true? I cannot find these modules anywhere in the country. How much do they cost and where can I buy a good replacement?
