1998 w210 sunroof problem
Hello!
Anyone in SoCal know a shop that might do sunroof repair???
The motor is fine, up & down are working, I've also tried resetting it.
But it seems like something in there broke or came loose. Only goes back 2 inches, makes a horrible noise and the sunroof stops. As the motor keeps going.
Any shop from San Diego to the Valley will do. I drive a lot.

Oh, BTW, Penske Benz in West Covina quoted me $900 before even looking at my car. Thank you service writer robot.

Wow, you actually got back on after 5 months to say you got it fixed! 
Btw, what was the problem with it? My fiancee has a sunroof that's 15 years old and still runs like clockwork.

Sorry you felt ignored but this is the place for discussions of forum usage not mechanical problems. I don't think it gets much traffic from those trying to help. May I suggest next time that you post in the W210 forum where I think you'll find the experience much better. There are a few regulars from SoCal and SD.
