The antenna on my 1997 C280 wont go down. Does it need to be replaced or is there a simple fix?

Hi, if you're a carefull sort of guy you can take these apart, usually its just filled up with muck & dried out, & a thorough clean & light oil of the mechanism will sort it. If you find that the nylon aerial tail has had it you can either buy one from MB or off E-Bay. Hope this helps.
