I have noticed that when a post gets more than two or three pages of replies that is when it seems to lock up and not be able to post.

That may be coincidental. I've had problems w/ other threads w/ one page only. The real problem is determining the real "root cause", and not speculating. Benzo, I'm not referring to your statement, I'm talking about the people who are actually looking into solving the problem. Until the real problem is fully understood, it cannot really be fixed.
