CE Light stays on – P0130 & P0135 – Real symptom is my car stalling

CE Light stays on – P0130 & P0135 – Real symptom is my car stalling
I am new to the forum and needs help! I drive a 2000 E320 has about 198400 miles.
The CE light has been coming on and off for several yrs of me owning this car. I have had my car serviced by the same Mercedes dealer for the past 10 yrs. Including all reg. maint and repairs.
However, they never resolved the issues concerning CE light, light Bulbs blowing and oil consumption issues. In Dec. 08 for the 1st time had a small oil leak, well as the CE, EC, (tired of these lights staying on) Also, When in reverse the car ran very shaky.
I took it to a foreign car specialist recommended by a friend and they fixed oil leak and motor mount charged me around $1300.00 But told me the CE was due to a sensor issue and was really expensive to fix and should be ok to drive. EC he hooked it up to a machine but couldn’t figure out what was wrong and said it will be expensive to fix. Exactly a year later my car started to stall when stopped at the light, or parked in a parking lot. Sometimes it starts up right away other times it takes 2-3 tries or 5-10 minutes before starting up. I took the car to another shop: they pull the codes: P0130 02-CAT Front right; P0400 E.G.R; P0135 02 sensor. They only replaced EGR Valve – removed & replaced using after market part (1st and only after market part in my car) + 2 hrs of labor, total cost around $340.00
I was told this will fix the stalling problem and I should be ok. Well the CE light went away for about 3 hrs. then it came back on and stayed on. Couple of days later my car was stalling again. I called them back and told them about the same problem I was having; they said they have no idea what is causing the car to stall; since they couldn’t duplicate the problem. They fixed the code P0400 which is closely related to stalling. Recently; I needed to have a Smog Inspection done on my car; the mechanic told me with the CE light on it is a automatic failure. Told me to have it fixed before the having the inspection done.
I called the same shop above: they told me I need to have the 02 sensor and Cat Conv. Replaced. They want to charge me 3hrs. for labor plus parts around $950.00
P0130 G3/4 (02-CAT stored front right)
P0135 02 sensor stored heater upstream TWC (R22)
Couple of days ago; as the car stalls I have been getting BAS, ESP, ABS warnings – visit workshop, but when the car starts-up this message goes away.
Also, we disconnected the battery for about 5 minutes – now my window does not operate correctly. It does not go up and down normally on all 4 windows.
Any suggestions will be appreciated, need to know if paying over $900.00 is a reasonable to replace 02 sensor and cat conv.? I am really frustrated right now.
I really need help. I am tired of spending money, not getting any results and getting stuck on the road.
