Angry AC Not Working Red Light Stays On


I can not get my AC to come on. The red indicator light stays on when I try to run on the AC. Can anyone assist please.

I have the same problem with my 2001 c240. Red light indicates ac needs charging. Do you hear a popping noise in the dash? If so its the stepping motor lever. I contacted the local dealership to repair got a quote of $1,100.00.

Wow! The thing is I dont have an error msg. My system indicated that everthing is working fine. But its not because my AC is not working...lol
