560 sel runs great cold as it warms up balks and lags
Hey guys I wonder if anyone can help me . I own a 1990 560SEL .it sat for a few yaers and the fuel system corroded the original problem was it ran very rich balcker than a poor running diesel. drained tank , replaced both fuel pumps , fuel ditributor was replaced and governer on fuel distrbutor cleaned return lines as well as the throttle plate . the car runs great cold but as it warms up it starts to lag on accelertion until it backfires when you press on the gas . diagnostic says crank positioning sensor and engine temp sensor are defective checked both out they are good ,keeps running same codes . can anyone help ? could you think the brain box and how would you troubleshhot this? thank you !!!!
