Unhappy Editing posts

I have logged on with my profile successfully but for whatever reason cannot edit my posts. I have switched between IE and Chrome but the behavior is the same. No edit option is available on my posts. I can reply though :-)

Is there something I am missing?

Help.

The contact us link at the bottom of the site page does not work. Does anyone know how to get help regarding editing posts?

You can edit them before anyone replies, or before a set time which I don't know. After that you lose the ability to edit and only mods can do it. If you want to edit a post, say, because you want to remove personal info or something, you can use the report button and we'll do it for you. We probably wouldn't edit your typos or things like that, so use it only when you absolutely cannot live with what you typed. Hope this helps!

Curious to know the reasoning behind not allowing us to edit our posts ?

I am on several forums and this is the only one that does not allow editing.
