2006 CLS55 AMG

Ran out of fuel.....under power at the time.........
now blowing smoke and misfiring on 5-6-7 cylinders
replaced plugs, couple plug wires.....reset.....no misfire....

BUT.......smoking still.
Took off intake manifold, put scope through plug holes......with camera

LOOKS LIKE cylinder bore is scored !!!!!! Can see the lines.......that is is No.5 cylinder.......this cylinder only....a lot of oil...........

What do you guys think? Have we broken a piston ring?

Why would this coincide with running out of gas?????

What should I do????

We have not yet removed the cyl head......to see how badly scored.

Afraid to look !!!

Any suggestions????
