How do you edit posts, or at least remove personal details?
I want to remove my phone number from a thread I created having now sold my car.

Click the edit button at the bottom of your post. Then you will see a button that says delete. Click that and I think it asks you for a reason but you don't have to provide one. Then move the dot to Delete Message and click delete again and it should be gone.
