it's kinda annoying to click "reply" "post new thread" "user cp" to log into the forums when a simple button will let you log in and return you to the forum index.

Unless I misunderstand what you are asking, if you have cookies turned on, you don't need to login at all.

This is true. However, I know that at work, our "software" is constantly deleting our cookies. The problem on this forum is that I will read a bunch of forums, before I realize that I am not logged on. Then when I do log on, it shows all of the forums that I have read has being unread.

And when I do find out that I am not logged in, I have to select "New Thread" to log in, then back all the way out again, and refresh.

Not a big deal really, but an inconvenience none the less.

On the main page there is a login spot if you're not logged in.

At school we have this program called Deepfreeze and I always go to the main page first, mainly because that's the only way to get to the "Get New Threads" button also..
