How to post new thread
I posted a new thread last night, but now I can't for the life of me. Only reason I posted this is because it gave me an option too.
Any help would be appreciated

Hi,
You currently have 5 posts, if you click on your user name in the upper right of the page a drop down menu will show several options. Try 'My Posts', I hope that helps.

Hey Bob,
Thanks for the info...I was searching and searching and....you get the idea.
By the way it seems like you know your way around this site....Can you ask the site-developers to make it more difficult for us users to post a New Thread, after all I think it's not quite difficult enough?!
Thanks again,

Your account shows normal permissions and access. Can you let us know where you was trying to post a New Thread? Which section?

Without further details, it's difficult to assist with the permission error you posted in your screen capture.
MBWorld runs on the vBulletin software. It's one of the largest (commercial) forum-based software that powers thousands of other forums similar to MBWorld. Its core dates back nearly 20 years so it has been around. Posting on, and navigating, Twitter, Facebook, Reddit, etc., all are different and requires some browsing around (sometimes reading FAQs and other Help guides) to become familiar with the setup. This is true for just about any application.

We use some tools to help prevent Spammers and Scammers. Sometimes the tools will improperly flag a member or post as spam, in which case we have to manually review. Once an account has become established and participated more in the community, this becomes less of an occurrence.

MBWorld is categorized by classes. As there are a lot of MB vehicles, there's a lot of sections. To post, you must be in one of the sections before you will see the New Thread button (as shown below) to post a new topic in that section:

Mercedes 4 cylinder E300 Service
What is the estimated cost for a B service and a transmission flush with mileage at 64,000 miles? My local MB dealer quoted $1600. Also, at this mileage is it necessary to replace plugs?
