Why Does It Take so Long To Scroll Through Posts?

Everytime I get on this forum it takes so long just to get through posts. It seems the webpage keeps loading, over and over. Today it took me a full 40 minutes to get through a 10 page thread. Why?

Hi,

I'll try to help. What device, OS and browser are you using to view the forums? Thank you.

I can't duplicate it as I can scroll very quickly through large threads using Win10 and Chrome on my desktop. I will try it on my Win10 laptop, are you using a ad blocker? Thanks.

Ok, I scrolled through several 10+ page threads with my HP laptop. There was an occasional delay with a Ad loading but I easily scrolled through them in a few minutes. My laptop is mid range and I have not had any other reports similar to what you are seeing. I will ask IB to for help, sorry.

IB is continuing to optimize Infinite Scroll, however, I don't think that is going to correct the large delay you are seeing. Again I cannot duplicate what you are seeing. Go to your User Control Panel and disable Infinite Scroll and Related threads to see if that helps. The options for both are in the 'Thread Display Options' section.
