thread subscription notifications not working

thread subscription notifications not working
Hi,
When i subscribe to a thread and select email notifications or push notifications (chrome) I never get the email notification or the push notification, and I have checked my spam and permissions in chrome. I wondered if this feature didn't work, or if there is additional diagnosis I should do ? Similarly, I don't get notifications for private messages either.
I did check chrome push notifications and the forum is enabled in my settings

I am experiencing the same problem? Do you happen to be using Earthlink as your ISP?
I contacted Earthlink tech support. They told me the problem was caused by an MBWorld security protocol. They asked me to request MBWorld.org tech support "Check and correct their DEMARC Record" when sending us emails. Earthlink tells me no DEMARC Record is found or recorded on coming from MBWorld to its members.
I received MBWorld emails for over 2 years without experiencing any problems until February 8, 2021. After February 8th, all emails to my Earthlink email account ceased. I switched my email account to my Spectrum email and MBWorld emails resumed but I would still prefer MBWorld emails come to my normal, main Earthlink account.

554 Transaction failed: i/o error (in reply to end of DATA command)
I'm not seeing this error with any other provider and this is apparent given that you get emails via Spectrum and other popular providers are still working.

I'm not a mail server admin and we'll do some more checking and discussing with the team, but I suspect Earthlink support simply did a mxtool request and looked for anything "bad" to fault. I suppose it's possible their explanation is correct, but I don't see how it can be related to a generic i/o error that appears isolated to a specific provider. Note that Earthlink is using Vade Secure services and that is where the issue is with the following error:

I did receive a single email this morning from MBWorld <MBWorld@internetbrandsauto.com> at my fun@sunlink.net (Earthlink) address.
I continue to be unable to receive ANY forum subscription emails from MBWorld.org Forums <no-reply@mbworld.org> at my same fun@sunlink.net address. I am only able to receive MBWorld.org forum emails at my Spectrum Roadrunner email account.

That email you received this morning from MBWorld was sent from a different email server for marketing. Glad you pointed that out because I ran the lookup on that email server and it, too, has the same DMARC warning. So that further tells me that my assumption may have been correct about Earthlink simply looking for anything "bad" and not fully understanding the issue and that the DMARC error may not have anything to do with the issue.
