Bad news guys, the factory installed rear seat entertainment system is delayed until December at the earliest. The accesories version will be available before then, though.

Are you talking about the R Class? There is no "accessories version" for the R Class, it is Factory Install only. Where did you get this information?

There will be an accesories version of rear seat entertainment, exactly like the one offered in the 164, and it will be available shortly after launch.

So, it would be true to say there isn't one - but that is only right now.

My dealer cannot confirm unavailability of the Rear Seat Ent. Package (supposedly my build date is early Sept WITH it)...do you have a bulletin # so i can ask pointedly-will not take delivery without this option. Thanks.

Check with mbbodytech by email or PM. He is the one with the details of the delay. In my case I just cancelled the TV and added the rear center console since it is not a critical item for me.
