The airmatic is the best guarentee for a smooth ride, load leveling, and optimum handling and braking.

On either the ML or the R I would not buy the car without it. The R is a heavy, long vehicle; and you are likely at times to load it full of people and cargo - the Airmatic is the suspension to deal with those types of loads as best as can be accomplished.

Definately order the Airmatic suspension on any new R or ML.

I have the airmatic and I highly recommend it. Given the size and weight of the R, the air suspension makes a considerable difference in the ride and handling. The R is a much more enjoyable drive with it, in my opinion.

I have the pano roof. Interior noise is not an issue. The car is very well isolated, especially considering how large it is.
