yesterday i had a testdrive with the new R-class and the ****pit looks very nice but on the backseats there is no place me. its to short 
okay im 1,96meters but the c-class from my dad was bigger :/
hope they will fix it with a long version

I am 6'3" (1.91 meters) and I thought the second row seats' legroom was extraordinary - moving the second row seats forward (to where I was still comfortable in them) I was able to get in the third row seats with no trouble. I would not want to sit there for hours and hours, but they were OK for short trips - slightly less room than our ML, for example.
Much better than my C-class rear seats, which are useless when the front seat is set correctly for me.
There is very admittedly little room in the third row if the second row seats are set all the way back.
