Advice please
Hello all. I thought MB was out of my life for a while untill last week. My wife needs to replace the XC90. Basically a new XC90/RX350 is $620 tax in 36 mos(believe it or not, the 2007 MDX $788/mo ^%$@#$).... So we drop in to the local MB dealership and when I gave my guy a monthly payment on the above cars he offered up a 2006 R500 with 1800 miles on it, black/black, P1,Nav, Sirius and some other stuff bringing the MSRP to $63K. $599 tax in/27 mos/12K miles/ $drive off of 1st payment,bank fees etc. Sounds good to me. I see it as a heck of alot more car at the same price. Can I do Better? Our only apprehension is that we would go for a different exterior color.

I think this is not a bad deal. We got our R 350 (MSRP at $59K) with $2800 out of the door and monthly at $608 (w/ tax). 27 month/12k a year. However, the car was brand new and we got all the options and colors that we wanted.
Sounds like you have a goodd deal on this car! My R is 2006, what year is the one you are looking at?

$15,500 to $16,250 off MSRP in California
With the $10,000 factory to dealer cash on these R500's, W.I. Simonson in Santa Monica, CA is offering $16,250 off MSRP and Beshoff is offering $15,500 off MSRP. Beshoff has their cars on ebay and indicates that they are shipping anywhere in the country. Your deal sounds reasonable, but what is your discount from MSRP, what is your money factor, and what is your residual value? Mercedes of Walnut Creek, CA had a 2006 R500 demo with 9000 miles on it for $23,000 off MSRP.
