Multicontour seats and other feature questions
So were the multi-contour front seats (16-way or 12-way or whatever they were [12-way w/ 4-way lumbar, maybe?]) for the R-Class a one-year-only choice? I've seen it listed as a $780 option for '06, but not for '07.
Were the front seats changed from '06 to '07? Most things I've read about the '06 model say that both seats are 8-way power adjustable (seat height, cushion angle, backrest angle, and fore/aft adj.), with 2-way lumbar adjust for the driver's seat only. But for '07, M-B says that only the R63 has 8-way front seats, w/out saying what the passenger seat defaults to instead for the R350/320 CDI/500.
Bonus question: did the '06 R-Class have a leather-wrapped steering wheel, or not?
