Resurrecting this post - any new info? For me, its either the Audi Q7 or R class if they get that hole filled in the mid row.

i have never sat in a q7, but i do know that the rear seats (mid row) are very comfortable and roomy.

2004 SL500, 2007 R350 Sport
Heard they were supposed to change it to a 7-seater some time in 2007.
Should get mine in 6 weeks or so, so who knows how many seats!
