2008 Sport Package

From the Benz website: This distinctive option includes 19-inch 5-spoke wheels with 255/50 all-season tires, blue tinted glass and sports exterior.

Can anyone confirm what exactly the sports exterior is?

I looked side by side between a Sport and non-sport R. Except for the wheels, I could not see a difference. The window sticker mentions something about chrome accents. I looked inside and out and could not see a difference.

Thanks!

The only info I was able to gather was the blue window tint and the 19" wheels (same wheels that are standard on the ML350). My concern was that in the brochure there is a picture of an R with black window trim instead of chrome (it says in the caption its a R350 two wheel drive, doesn't mention sport package though). Thought maybe the sport package changed the window trim to black, BMW has a habit of doing that with their sport packages, but it does say chrome accents in the sport package description.

So basically its just a wheel upgrade. $1,000 for R350's and $1,250 for R320's when you consider your getting rims and tires thats a pretty good price.

This is true, but I am referencing the 19" Sport Package. The build your own has it listed as a $1000 option, but no option code and just says exterior appearance ha ha how vague is that?
