I have an 06 R-350 and I got in the car and there was NO sound from the radio, sat, nav, changer or IPod. I reset the COMAND system and no luck. Everything appears to be working - it shows the right number of CDs, and appears to play them but no sound. . .and no, I don't have mute on!

Could this be a fuse issue as well? I hate to take it to the dealer and waste the time. . anyone know what the fuse # is?

Any other ideas?

amp is toast. needs replaced. everything on your vehicle is interconnected on the MOST fiber optic ring. if the amp didn't have power the changer or anything else wouldn't be available for selecting. now I did see 1 with a changer and satellite but no fiber optic amp... but i doubt yours is set up like that.

This all the time? It's happened to me 3 or 4 times in the SL. Thought I'd hit the mute button or something but after locking up the car and going back it was fine. Still don't know the cause!

Yes, mine went away after a few start/stops and now works fine.

Same thing happened to me. Dealer replaced the Amp.
