I've received my H&R sport spring today, but .....

but there were only 2 spring in the package. My R500 don't have airmatic. I've removed my wheels and there are only springs at front. The are something like airmatic system at the back. H&R say the sport springs lower 1.4" front and 1.3" rear. How?? Anyone use H&R for their non-airmatic R??

I do not have a R but have spoken to Wheel power they confirmed R with normal suspension only has coils in front and air for the rear. You probably need links for the rear (not sure if H R provides them ).

Coil Springs in front and Airmatic in the rears

You are correct. The coil spring are in the fronts only. In the rears they are airmatics. I have looked at mine, and played around with the airmatics in the rears. When I elongated my links in the rears it raised the rear up. You should have recieved shorter links for the rears, to lower them. I was going to try and reate some links myself for the rears but I have not had time to do it yet.

AMG8451, there was nothing other than 2 springs in the H&R package. I know Brabus springs kit come with 2 rods for the rear. I've ask the place I got my spring and responded as below:

Its only a 2 spring kit, on that vehicle when you lower the front, the self leveling in the rear will automatically adjust the height to compensate with the front.

Do you think is possible?

Are the shorter links replace the rod show at my 2nd pics? I've contacted adjustableairride.com and he is asking me if there are sensor arm on each side of the lower control arms. Need to know if thats the right one.

Ever figure this one out? Will the rear auto level without new end links?

rear lowering

I am not sure if the rear will auto adjust to compensate when you lower the front. When I lowered my E500 (with airmatic) in the front I also had to lower the rear. Also the links for the rears in the R-class should be plastic. With the rear wheels off, look past the air suspension and you should see some plastic links (toward the front) that are connected to a square box with cable running out of it., these will be the links that will ned to be replace or shortened.
