HELP!!!!! Problems with the R
Hi guys, well 2 days ago when I came back from home depot with the trunk filled with stuff (running errands for my mom), after I pulled the button on the lid for the power trunk, as it was opening and when it got about half way up, i pushed on it and pressed the closing button, and it stayed in that position. then i pushed the button again for it to go all the way up, and the most unusual thing happened. It would go all the way up, but as soon as it got there it wouldn't stay up, and it closes by itself (non-power way, as if it was limp, and there was no force on it). SO PLEASE TELL ME WHAT YOU THINK I CAN DO TO FIX IT WITHOUT GOING TO THE DEALER!!!!!

There is an option for the self closing rear hatch that makes it only open part way for when your parking in close quarters. If I remember right its accessed through your computer in the dash in one of the menus. Check and make sure it didn't go into that setting when you stopped it or try putting it in that setting and opening the rear hatch and then take it out of that setting sort of clearing its computer. If it still happens its time to take it to the dealer and see if something else didn't go wrong.
