manual shifting

hi guys,
still playing around w/ the new R.
when i'm driving and i shift into manual mode, if i'm cruising in 4th gear...is there a way to go back to auto "D" mode - w/o going thru 5, 6 and then 7?

If your too high in the rev range it will only go down as many gears as the ecu will allow.

Meaning, if your doing 80mph you can't shift into 2nd gear or anything like that.

It will go down a couple gears and the the button will just not do anything.
