need help on buying either an 06/07 R500 with AMG sport package...
I came across this posting on autotrader? Is it worth the risk of not buying a CPO car? I dont really trus Carfax. Other than having the car inspected at an MB dealer, is there a way for you to check the service history of this car?

no CPO is ok as long as you factor it in price to get extended. recent MB's really do need it, and be sure to be bumper/bumper and not the itemized ones that exclude expensive parts/repairs.
also, w/ certain dealers, CPOs can mean A LOT. my MB dealer tuned up, replaced some warranty items, AND replaced front/rear brakes and rotors. used car guys won't do brakes, and you could be out $2k+ soon w/ car at 38k miles and might need it.
good luck.
