R350 or R500?
Hi everyone,
wanted to get some opinions. I'm looking into getting either a R350 or 500 both are pretty much in the same price range mid 20's to 30k. What are any major differences between these 2 vehicles?
What premium options should I be looking for?
I heard 07's have bluetooth built in, do both have airmatic adjustable suspension? I might want airmatic cause there is a lowering module.

nobody?
I'm looking at an 07 R350 fully loaded under 30K. Parktronic, Nav, rear console and entertainment package...
Or a Sax edition 06 R500 under 30k miles and right at 30K.
Any thoughts??????

To answer your question, I am bias toward R500 since this is what I have. R-class is a very heavy vehicle and if you can get a V8, I would go for it. The downside is the gas mileage not very good and I get about 13/20 mpg in average.
For your two choices, I will go for the Sak but you will need to pay close attention on when the warranty is going to be expired. Sak is the earliest release of the R-class and I believe it came out in the mid to late 2005. You definitely don't want to own a R-class without some kind of bumper to bumper warranty with so many toys such as Sak.
Btw, this topic especially on opinions about options has been discussed many times in this forum and you should be able do a search and obtain more information.
Good luck.

Another thing aobut Sak is that almost all are without rear power gate lifter. I almost bought a R500 Sak last year. It has power folding mirror, power steering, memory seats and airmatic suspension. Surprisely, no power lift gate. It killed the deal!
Bensitto,

The Saks 500 already sold!
Think I'm going to do the R350. it's fully loaded and better gas mileage.
Thanks for all your feedback.
