NEW MMI CABLE TO CHARGE iPHONE?
Brand new R-class last week...i thought there was an updated MMI cable out that would charge my iPhone (MMI gotten as part of premium 1). Do not have separate iPod kit.
Dealer is willing to replace, but doesn't know what to replace with....any advice/TSB/part number?
I know there is a cable out that will do it, but don't know if that is ONLY for the ipod kit and NOT for the MMI?
Help appreciated!

I think the only thing that will charge the iPhone g or gs is the PASSTHROUGH dongle you can find on the Apple Store.
Forget who makes it but converts the charge to a voltage for the G and GS phones.
