Rain X makes my wipers skip

I love Rain-X.

When I got my 08 R, it caused my wipers to skip which is very annoying.

Anybody else have this issue?

R350 4-matic
Have not had a problem with it. I however do apply at least 1x/mo.

I've been using Rain-X for more than 25 years. I always apply two coats to ensure full coverage of the windshield. I've noticed some skipping on occasion. I rarely use the wipers when it rains except for intermittent clearing when driving slowly enough that there isn't sufficient wind flow to clear the windshield.

Same here, I've had similar experiences on too many cars. Reserve the RainX for the other glass surfaces on the vehicle. Get yourself some Aquapel mfd by PPG. It's vastly superior to RainX and lasts far longer.
