K&N Air Filters
Has anyone had experience with replacing their OEM air filters with K&N air filters ?? Any computer problems ?? Noticeable improvements in gas mileage ?

2008 R350 & 2008 C300
Since no one has posted a reply for you, I'll give you my experience. I used to run K&N in my Jeep Grand Cherokee's, swore by them, gave me a couple extra mpg and felt like it gave me a bit more oomph off the line. When I got my first ML I went the K&N route and got nothing, no extra mpg, no feeling of extra oomph, nothing. Haven't went back since, seems MB makes some decent air filters, or their air system itself is up to par.

2008 ML350 4matic
I put a pair in my ML350 several months ago and can attest to about a 1 mpg gain....I watched it very carefully using same routes and speeds....They last the life of the car and allow it breath a little easier. I have no beef with the factory filters, but the K&N will at least save $$$ in the long, long run, replacement wise.

Out of my reserch on K&N for any vehicle, is that they let too much dirt flow by. With any airfilter the performance of it is relevant of your driving conditions. I am never going to recomend K&N for long term.
