How many interior color options are availible on the R-Class from '06-'10?
Reason I'm asking because I noticed my car (purchased CPO) is missing the rear cargo cover. Our car has a different color interior than the several other R Class models we were cross shopping at the time. Our interior is sort of a two-tone mix of a light gray with dark gray. I remember looking at an '06 that was parked next to my '08 on the lot. The '06 was silver exterior with gray interior, while my car is barolo Red exterior with a gray interior but in daylight it looks more tan-beige. I guess my question is I thought the R-Class was only offered in Black, Cashmer ,or Grey interior. Does anyone else have the two toned color like mine?

Very little has changed interior wise for the R class since the first year for it in 2006. The radio head units have changed, the floor mats have changed, but the over all colors have stayed the same. The Black interiors are solid black on black. The Ash interiors are light Ash on the seats and dark Ash on the door pulls and dash. The Cashmere interiors have Cashmere seats and a reddish brown color for the door pulls and dash.
R350 and R500 Standard models: Black, Ash, and Cashmere.
R63 - Black, Ash and Cashmere Nappa Leather.
There was a Sport option on the ML in 2006-07 that offered two tone Black leather with Ash Suede inserts. It wouldn't be beyond someone to swap a set of those into an R seeing how they were the exact same seats up until 2009 when the ML got a new design.

Specify what you consider two tone. Two tone in its classic sense refers to the seating area. There are no two tone options, there are however the color schemes which I listed above that do have different colored door pulls and dash tops.

I wish I could be more specific but the brochures do not show how or where the two tones are applied. They just show five different color options, which they list as:
141 Black Artico, 144 Cashmere Beige Artico, 148 Alpaca Grey Artico
201 Black Leather, 204 Cashmere Beige Leather, 208 Alpaca Grey Leather
254 Black/Beige, 258 Black/Grey.
Judging by the 254 and 258 designations, I'm guessing that the two tone variations are only available in leather.
These colors and codes are identical in both the 2009 and 2010 brochures.

Yeah I forgot to mention that. Actually I made a whole thread on the changes when the 09's debuted, feel free to check the link out. I haven't dove into the 2010 model yet. Off hand for 2010 the addition of the AMG wheels as standard on the R350 and the new exterior color Metallic Steel Grey seem like the only changes from 2009 models. They are holding off for the 2011 refresh, which has been covered here on other threads.

Except for the new colors, the only changes here for 2010 are that (as always seems to be the case with the R), with each new year the prices seem to come down and they include a lot more of what used to be options. So the value gets better and better all the time. Unfortunately that really messes with the resale values of the older ones. One of the 2007's I test drove, that only had 17,000km on it, was just over $92,000 when new! A 2010 version of the same car would have been about $65,000. The dealer was asking $52,00 for it, but in reality it will likely sell for around the mid to high 40's. In other words, it will have depreciated more than the price of a new GLK in only 3 years, and that's with only 17K km on it!

Ok I stand corrected. There are other interior choices not listed on the website, or in any of the brochures. This is a full leather package, which hasn't been offered, or at least mentioned as an offer, since 2006. It is special order only, but I couldn't find a price or an order code for that matter. Looks great though, I like the contrast of colors, and appreciate the dark cargo carpeting that would certainly hide the dirt better.

Yeah those pictures look to be what you were describing in an earlier post. The only thing I could find was Canadian ML specs though, I wonder if the same order codes would work for the R as well?

That tan/ black carpet & headliner looks awesome. I wish my car had similar. I hate how the ash carpet shows every little piece of dirt. The leather looks fabulous to, I know I wouldn't want it though as I hate how fast leather wears out and cracks at the bolsters and seating surfaces.
