Taking the R to a different dealer tomorrow

The MB dealer I purchased from (CPO) has been unable to fix an alarming- to me- sound coming from the front when off the gas in first gear. This has nothing to do with the brakes. It's a grinding that you can both hear and feel, seems to be coming more from the drivers side. Cannot replicate at every stop, but a small bump in the road or driveway seems to exacerbate it.
My experience tells me it's a CV joint or the transaxle, but the dealer never found that to be the case. They replaced the wheel bearing front DS twice, and the hub once, but that never fixed it.

The second issue is the rear airspings make a clunk clunk noise ocasionally when they adjust at a stoplight. Sounds like the bladders get hung up on the metal part of the spring as they adjust. Dealer says normal. I say no way. My Allroad has the same type bags and does not do this.

Any thoughts on this are appreciated, and I'll keep you posted after tomorrow.

Dealer confirmed a bad halfshaft, DS. Part is ordered and should be in tomorrow.
Still looking into rear noise- thinks it is the purge system and normal.

My R class 320 cdi's front airspings make noise ocasionally when I go over humps on the road. It can be heard more on colder days but its noticeble if you listen for it.

I wonder if I need to take it to the dealer to check it out.
