Since the wife drives the r on a regular basis, the times that I do get it to myself it is fun to open it up.....I love being on the highway next to most any other sport ute/minivan.....and regardless of the current speed they are traveling, I can dust them at any point....it's just fun and it sounds great when the engine is pushed a little.

They do have some zip to them for sure. I was behind an R550 leaving the plant the other day it "merged" in to traffic on the interstate impressively.

Obviously no were. Theres a couple at the plant that were built but I guess they were built for R&D.

R-class with the 550 engine are badged as R500 and sold in Europe.

That is correct.

R350 Long and R500 Long (5.498 Liters engine) also sell in VietNam(Mercedes-Benz).
