R350 Performance

So far all I can find to increase performance allong with economy is to get a K&N filter and this place for some programmers.

I am 50/50 on getting the K&N filters for the fact that allot of dirt passes through them and that will hurt the longevity of the engine

Do you guys know of any thing or place else?

Thank you

You drive a nearly 5000 lb car equipped with a V6 engine.

Not sure any of this stuff is going to help.

You can always trade up to a R320CDI or an R500/63 or see if Evosport can hook you up with a forced induction kit

I'm pretty sure "R350 Performance" is an oxymoron.

Sorry for the useless post.

I think for $500 or so you can flash the ECU and get another 25 or so (perhaps by raising the redline).

Thank you for your help

I think I might google map some places near my house and see if there is a benz performance shop arround.

Q & R
I use K&N filters on all my cars and have for years. They are not a magic bullet for performance - but on smaller cars, they do make a difference you can notice in throttle response. I have not experienced any inferior filtering. One thing you may want to try is the Sprintbooster. It does not add any HP, but it really puts all 268 hp available with much less pedal effort. It really wakes up the R350 and is easily installed and removed if you don't like it. Worth the $300.
