R500 brake dust
My dads new 2010 E350 wheels were never clean, he would have the car extensively detailed and 20 minutes later it looked like he drove the car 200 miles. He solved the problem by swapping his aluminum 18" wheels for Chrome 18" wheels and now they don't show the dust nearly as much.
Either EBC Red 3000 or Green 6000 pads are good:

Btw, having a lot of brake dust doesn't mean poor brake pad quaility. It just means the pad material is very soft. Advantage is better friction with shorter stopping distance.
