Smile New 2008 R350 owner!

I just purchased a one owner 2008 R350 with 25,000 miles for $25,000. It is a strictly base model with the only option being heated front seats. I'm really glad with the purchase since it is basically a base model so less to worry about in the future. I have about 14-months left on the warranty and was wondering if you guys had any opinoins on purchasing an extended warranty since it is as basic as this model can get. I'm extremely happy with the purchase.

Congrats on the new R. That has to be a rare R indeed. Almost certainly special ordered, as I've never seen an R without P1. Usually they are nearly fully loaded so the dealers have more room with the discounts and all that. As for the warranty question, it was just addressed a few weeks ago on this thread.

I would try the finance guy at your nearest MB dealer to see what warranty options there are.

I sure will try the MB dealer first. I want to make sure that if MB won't offer anything I want to work with a 3rd party warranty company that works well with them as well as with me.
