Hi guys,
Recently car started to whine in the am when turning the steering wheel. The sound appears to be belt related, but not sure. The sounds also appears to go away later in the day, but for in the am it's gotten increasingly louder.
The R500 is still CPO and I'll take in, but just hoping to get some feedback if anyone's familiar w/ the symptom.

I would check steering wheel fluid first.

Blitz, I had similar symptom. It turned out to be seal failure in steering pump. Had pump replaced under extended warranty. My coat was just over $100.

Check the level of the steering fluid and, while you're there, check to see if the front of the engine is coated in oil film. Our '06 had a leaky gasket where the fluid tank meets the pump. The gasket is a $3 part. I replaced the plastic tank too for about $50 from Amazon.
