Brake Light Switch

Hi,
I need to replace the brake light switch on my 2006 R class but can't find a replacement anywhere. Is it the same as one which is used in other models?

2006 R500

Most likely the same as used on W164 and X164.

Thanks so much for this. I'll take the switch out of the R class tomorrow and compare it with images of the switch for ML and GL models

Interesting development!! The local Mercedes main agent tell me that my R class doesn't have a brake light switch. Can anyone confirm this please?
