Loose connectors under the hood

When I popped the hood, I saw some loose wire connectors under the hood. They were tucked into an open area on the passenger side. It was located near the Positive terminal. I attached 3 pictures. The first two show a relatively long wire about 3' long with ~3 connectors, all of which look the same. The third picture shows another connector that is relatively short in length, also, not connected to anything. FYI, The 3-connector wire does not connect to the shorter wire.

Car seems to be running fine without any problems. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

Someone ask the same question. I did ask my dealer for him but they have no clue.
I would say it is for an optional (may be for parktronic) .

I have parktronic on my R and I did not see any loose connectors.

Thanks asianr350. my r-class has parktronic & it is working fine. By the way, if it matters, it is an R500.

@benzo......haha!! the wife was saying the same thing to me! she was planning on going today after work.

If there are any other suggestions, please let me know. Thanks.
