2011 R350 with AC outlet

My new R has the outlet in the rear cargo area.

Has anyone had issues with theirs?

Has anyone blown the fuse for it?

How do you know if the fuse is blown?

This is my 1st experience with an AC outlet in a vehicle.

Thanks

if you have no power 110 volts at outlet, I would check the fuse.

I am using Dual Outlets 110 Volts 400 Watts Power Inverter built in cooling fan have no problem so far.
As long as you use low watts AC equipments, you should not have any problem overloading the circuit (blown fuse) just like 12 Volts cigarettes outlet.

The best indication of a blown fuse is no power at the outlet, obviously.Depending on how easy it is to replace you might carry a spare fuse. Also, don't overload the outlet....no running refrigerators or anything.

I have not had a problem yet. I'm asking so I know where to look.

Do you know where the fuse is?

I'm sure it varies from model to model. In my E Class fuses are located in two different places....in the trunk and under the hood.In the spot where my spare tire *would* be (but isn't,thanks to diesel exhaust fluid) there's a schematic showing all the details of the fuse boxes....a diagram of each compartment with details of the amperage and function(s) of each fuse.

Your vehicle would have the same thing...those who own an R Class are most likely to know where it is.For that matter the manual probably tells you as well.
