Rear Entertainment System Screen Blank
I have a Rear Entertainment System with a single LCD screen installed between the two seats in my 2006 R350. The DVD player turns on and I can insert and eject DVDs. When I turn the power on, the sensors at the bottom of the LCD blink, but the screen remains blank. The owner's manual's troubleshooting section suggested that the fuse may need to be replaced. I had a mechanic check the fuse #28 and it looks fine. Since the DVD player powers on, the fuse shouldn't be the issue.
Since I am new to the car, I am wondering if I am missing something. Does the DVD player's LCD screen need to be turned on from the COMAND?
I bought a used LCD from eBay yesterday (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...1874&viewitem=) but i wanted to see whether it is some kind of a setting issue before I go through the trouble of getting my LCD replaced.
