Steering moan
I have a 2006 R500 that recently started two, seemingly related symptoms. When turning left, you can hear a "moaning" or non-metallic grinding sound, and when turning hard left, you can also "feel" slight twisting sensation. I imagine this is problem with the power steering. At this point, it is only mildly annoying.
I had something like this is in the past. The problem was more significant and there was a loud grinding sound when turning. We cured this by changing the power steering reservoir and replacing the o-rings.
Any thoughts would be appreciated.

I had a similar problem with my 2007 R500. I had the power steering pump replaced under the extended warranty. It was leaking fluid and losing pressure.
