Trans slips when really cold, forward or reverse.

So I put it in reverse this morning, -15C, 2008 R320 with 75k miles. It creeps fine but adding throttle doesn't move any faster. Try forward same thing. Park it idling for a couple of minutes, then everything is fine. Trans was serviced twice so far (40k and 65k), fluid is clean and correct level-no leaks. Any thoughts? Just a one time glitch or something going to explode soon? I let it rev to 1500-2000rpm just a second and gave up, no sense burning up clutches if it is slipping. Afterwards the drive was fine.
